Seven Sacraments
1. Baptism...which makes us a child of God.
2. Confirmation...which "comfirms" our baptism and makes us adults and witnesses in our faith.
3. Eucharist...which gives us the spiritual food of Jesus Himself for our Christian journey.
4. Reconciliation...which cleanses us of our sins after baptism.
5. Anointing of the Sick...which gives us the strength to endure physical hardship and sickness.
6. Marriage...which binds a husband and wife permantly together in the image of Christ and His Church.
7. Holy Orders...which ordains a man to carry on the ministry of Christ, the high priest.

Ten Commandments
1. I, the Lord, am your God. You shall not have other gods besides me.
2. You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain.
3. Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.
4. Honor your father and your mother.
5. You shall not kill.
6. You shall not commit adultery.
7. You shall not steal.
8. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
9. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.
10. You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor.

Beatitudes
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land.
Blessed are they who hunger and thrist for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they will see God.

The Liturgical Year
     Advent...
The beginning of the Church year, it is the 40-day period before Christmas, a time of preparation before the birth of Christ.
     Christmas...
Celebrates the Incarnation (God became human).
     Ordinary Time 1...
This spans from Christmas until Lent, representing the "ordered" time of the Church calendar.
     Lent...
40 days of preparation prior to Easter Sunday.
     Triduum...
Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the Easter Vigil.
     Easter...
The celebration of the Resurrection of Christ. This starts on Easter Sunday, and lasts 50 days until Pentecost Sunday. (Ascension Thursday takes place during this time, 40 days after Easter).
     Ordinary Time 2...
Following Pentecost, this period includes Trinity Sunday, the feast of Corpus Christi, and goes all the way through the end of the liturgical year, which is the feast of Christ the King
(just before the start of the next Advent season).

Precepts of the Church
1. Attend Mass on Sundays and holy days of obligation.

5. Observe the prescribed days of fasting and abstinence.
